‘I am on your face…’, Murali Karthik became uncomfortable in live discussion due to Virender Sehwag’s joke, know the whole matter

Virender Sehwag: Amidst the excitement of IPL 2026, an incident has come to light which has attracted the attention of cricket fans. In fact, during the post-match discussion, the conversation between former Indian cricketers Virender Sehwag and Murali Karthik suddenly reached an uncomfortable mode. A comment by Sehwag made the atmosphere strange for a few moments.

What is the whole matter?

Actually, this whole matter happened last Wednesday, 29th April, when there was discussion about Shardul Thakur. Both the experts were talking to Cricbuzz after the match played between Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad. During this, both of them were surprised at Mumbai’s decision, in which Mumbai included Shardul in the team as an impact player but did not give him a chance to bowl even a single over.

In the ongoing conversation regarding Shardul Thakur, Murali Karthik said that, even I did not understand this decision of Mumbai. Maybe they brought him as a replacement but maybe they forgot or something. Taking his point further, he said that I really did not understand, I don’t know why.

Karthik became uncomfortable with Sehwag’s words

Before Karthik finished speaking, Virender Sehwag in a light tone asked the host of the show, can you pass me a can of Red Bull so that I can spray it on his face. Karthik looked completely uncomfortable after hearing this from Sehwag. After this, Karthik questioned Sehwag and said, why don’t you tell? On this, Sehwag replied that the answer to this question lies with Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya.
