Vishwa Hindu Parishad submitted memorandum regarding Little Flower School in Haraiya
Settlement. Vishwa Hindu Parishad officials submitted a memorandum registering their objection to Sub-Collector Satyendra Singh and Police Station President Harraiya regarding the Little Flower School located in the Nagar Panchayat of Tehsil Harraiya area of Basti district. It was alleged in the memorandum that conversion activities are allegedly being carried out in the school premises through an NGO named “Disha” and an illegal church is being constructed in the name of the auditorium.
Officials of the organization also said that the road adjacent to the school gate is for the personal use of the Hindu Colony where small children play and there is a possibility of accident due to the movement of school buses. Department Minister Vivek Singh Sonu alleged that the school management, in the name of survey in the villages, calls girls aged 15 to 18 years to the school premises by luring them with employment and tries to convert them. District President Dr. Harimurthy Singh and Manoj Singh said that the activities are being conducted under the guise of social service in the name of “Little Flower Ashram”.
They claim that the church is being constructed after taking permission for the construction of the auditorium. However, the father of the school has denied these allegations and given in writing to the administration that the church is not being constructed. He clarified that the auditorium will be used only for cultural programs of the school and no religious activity or symbol will be used in future. It was also assured that school buses will come and go through the old route only and only small vehicles will pass through the colony route.
District Minister Praveen Singh demanded that the administration should conduct an impartial investigation into this entire incident and prevent the colony road from being disrupted. Bajrang Dal district convenor Ajay Kanojia said that if action is not taken in time, a situation of public anger may arise, for which the administration will be responsible. During the submission of the memorandum, a large number of people including Pramod Pandey, Anil Ojha, Akhilesh Ojha, Avinash Ojha, Dr. Anand Singh, Amardev Singh, Pintu Singh, Dipanshu Singh, Parivisht Tripathi, Sukhram Gaur were present. Administrative officials have received the memorandum and assured to investigate the matter.
