Why Vivek Vaswani did not do any film with Salman Khan for 35 years, now he told the reason

Vivek Vaswani Salman Khan: Actor, producer and writer Vivek Vaswani, in a recent interview, spoke openly about his working experience with superstar Salman Khan and the reason for not working with him again for a long time. Interestingly, both of them had worked together in the 1991 film Paththar Ke Phool, but after that they never worked together again in the last 35 years.

Reason for not working together for 35 years

Vivek Vaswani told in an interview that the work environment is very important for him. He said clearly, “I cannot work in an environment where there is alcohol or where people work in an undisciplined manner. This is against the way I work.” He also added that if he gets the same Salman Khan whom he has seen working with filmmakers like Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Sooraj Barjatya, where he is completely professional and disciplined, then he is ready to work with him again.

On what conditions will you work again?

Vivek Vaswani also made it clear that he wants to work not just with “star Salman Khan” but with “actor Salman Khan”. He said, “When I meet Salman as an actor, only then will I work with him. Big banner filmmakers treat him with the same respect and seriousness, due to which the best comes out in him.” Emphasizing on discipline, he said that if the shooting time is 9 am, then it is important for the artist to reach on time – delay or carelessness is not acceptable to him.

Vivek Vaswani also talked about his relationship with Salman Khan’s father Salim Khan in the interview. Since the story of Patthar Ke Phool was written by Salim Khan, it was not easy to make changes in the script. He told that there were some differences with time, especially when Salman Khan became a big star and started being busy in many films, which created problems of dates. However, Vivek dismissed these differences as minor and said that he has a lot of respect for Salim Khan.

Vivek Vaswani praised Salim Khan’s family and said that there was excellent hospitality at their house during script discussions. He loved the food and atmosphere there and every meeting became a memorable experience.
