Vivo launches two new smartphones in India, know the price and features

Chinese tech company Vivo has introduced two new smartphones, Vivo Y21 5G and Vivo Y11 5G, under its Y Series in India. Both these handsets have been launched in the mid-range segment with powerful batteries, large displays and latest features. Both the devices include the same processor, battery and display, giving users a similar experience in terms of features and basic usage.

Price and availability

Vivo Y21 5G has been launched in three variants:

• 4GB + 128GB – Rs 18,999
• 6GB + 128GB – Rs 20,999
• 8GB + 128GB – Rs 22,999

At the same time, Vivo Y11 5G has been introduced in two variants:

• 4GB + 64GB – Rs 14,999
• 4GB + 128GB – Rs 16,999

On this Rs 1,000 Cashback offer of up to Rs. Both the smartphones are available on the official website of Flipkart and Vivo India. The Y21 5G is available in Champagne Gold and Midnight Blue colors, while the Y11 5G is available in Midnight Blue and Sunrise Gold colors.

Display and Design

Both smartphones have a 6.74-inch HD+ LCD display, which supports 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 1200 nits. The screen has received TÜV Rhineland Low Blue Light certification, which is less harmful to the eyes. Additionally, it comes with IP65 rating, which provides protection against dust and water. SGS Military Grade Shock Resistance is also available.

Performance and storage

Both the smartphones have MediaTek Dimensity 6000 series octa-core processor, which provides better performance and multitasking experience. Vivo Y21 5G has support for up to 8GB of RAM, while Vivo Y11 5G has up to 4GB of RAM available. Both phones also have the option of up to 128GB storage.

For photography, Vivo Y21 5G has a 50MP primary camera, while Vivo Y11 5G has a 13MP rear camera. Both smartphones have a 5MP front camera, which is useful for selfies and video calling. The camera also includes modes like Night, Portrait, Pro, Time-lapse and Live Photo.

Battery and connectivity

Both smartphones have a large battery of 6,500mAh. Vivo Y21 5G has 44W fast charging support, while Vivo Y11 5G has 15W charging facility. For connectivity, features like 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type-C and GPS are included. Both devices also have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.
