To strengthen its hold in the foldable smartphone segment, Vivo is soon going to launch its new Vivo X Fold 6. Before the launch, the company has announced many important features of this device. Now recently Vivo has shown the battery, strength and network connectivity features of the phone through a new demo video. The brand claims that the upcoming foldable phone can create new benchmarks in the market with a larger battery, advanced battery technology and better signal performance.
Vivo X Fold 6 will come with 7,000mAh battery
Vivo product manager Han Boxiao has confirmed that all variants of Vivo X Fold 6 will come with a 7,000mAh Blue Ocean battery. This will be the first device in the foldable smartphone industry in which 5th generation Silicon-Anode Battery Technology will be used.
Along with this, the company has also included third generation Semi-Solid-State Battery Technology, which will improve the efficiency and backup of the battery. Vivo claims that the device can last for about 9.8 hours in Atomic Workbench mode during heavy usage, offering 30 percent better battery performance than the previous model.
Will work even in -20°C temperature
The company demonstrated the strength of the phone by showing that Vivo X Fold 6 functions normally even in minus 20 degree Celsius temperature. Apart from this, the device was also shown being used underwater.
The phone has got IPX8 and IPX9 water resistance rating, due to which it will be able to withstand even high pressure water. The company has also given it a light but strong hinge, which will maintain stable performance even after being folded and unfolded for a long time.
New communication system will be available for better network
The company’s new Global Signal Amplification System 3.0 has been given in Vivo X Fold 6. It uses a 1+4 Communication Chipset Architecture, which includes a dedicated signal amplification chip and four Wi-Fi enhancement chips.
The company claims that this system will provide better connectivity even in high-speed trains, highways, elevators and areas with weak networks.
Call made from a height of 4,000 meters
Vivo also demonstrated a voice call demo while skydiving from a height of 4,000 meters to showcase the phone’s network capability. According to the company, the phone is able to maintain a stable connection by searching for available networks faster.
Display and camera will be very powerful
Vivo For performance, it will be provided with MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super Edition processor.
For photography, the phone will have a triple rear camera setup, which will include 200MP primary camera, 50MP ultra-wide camera and 50MP periscope telephoto camera. Apart from this, this will be the first foldable smartphone of Vivo which will support Telephoto Extender Attachment.
