Vivo Y05 Debuts with 120Hz Display, 6500mAh Battery
Udaipur, February 25, 2026 (Read) – Vivo has launched its new entry-level smartphone, Vivo Y05, in Malaysia and Saudi Arabia. The device targets budget users and focuses on long battery life along with essential features.

The Vivo Y05 features a 6.74-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1600 × 720 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The panel offers 260ppi pixel density and supports up to 1200 nits High Brightness Mode (HBM). The device comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.
The smartphone is powered by the Unisoc T7225 processor built on a 12nm process. It is paired with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB eMMC 5.1 storage. The device also supports up to 4GB of extended RAM and expandable storage up to 2TB via microSD card. It houses a 6,500mAh Li-ion battery with support for 15W charging.
The Vivo Y05 runs on OriginOS 6.0 based on Android 16. For photography, it includes an 8-megapixel rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture and rear flash. On the front, it features a 5-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture.
Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, dual SIM support, Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.2, USB Type-C and an infrared blaster. The IP65-rated handset measures 167.40 x 77.10 x 8.39 mm and weighs 209 grams.
The Vivo Y05 is priced at RM 399 (approximately $100) in Malaysia. In Saudi Arabia, it is available for $109. The smartphone comes in Black and Blue colour options.
