Vivo Y500 4G: Vivo Y500 5G was launched in China in September last year. Now only the 4G version of this smartphone has been launched in some select global markets. The new Vivo Y500 4G has a slightly smaller battery than the 5G version (which had an 8,200mAh battery). Additionally, the new Vivo Y500 4G has a rectangular rear camera module, while the Vivo Y500 5G had a round module. This new handset has an octa-core Unisoc chipset, 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. This phone is currently available for sale in two colors.
Vivo Y500 4G price and availability
The price of Vivo Y500 4G starts at PKR 99,999 (approximately Rs. 34,000) for the base variant (8GB RAM and 128GB storage). Whereas the top-end model, which has 256GB storage and the same amount of RAM as the base variant. Its price is PKR 1,09,999 (approximately Rs. 38,000).
This smartphone is currently available for purchase on Vivo Pakistan’s online store. Vivo Y500 4G comes in Midnight Blue and Pearl White colors.
Specifications and features of Vivo Y500 4G
Vivo Y500 4G is a dual-SIM smartphone that runs on Vivo’s OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. This handset has a 6.83-inch 1.5K (1,260×2,800 pixels) AMOLED display, which has features like refresh rate of up to 120Hz, peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits, pixel density of 449 ppi, Q10+ luminescent material and 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut coverage. The company claims that this phone comes with IP69 rating for protection against dust and water.
Vivo Y500 4G has a 6nm octa-core Unisoc T7300 chipset. It has six efficiency cores with a clock speed of 2.0GHz and two performance cores with a peak clock speed of 2.2GHz. It also has 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB UFS 2.2 onboard storage. For thermal management, Vapor Chamber Cooling Solution has been provided in Vivo Y500 4G which gives a heat dissipation area of 4,300 square millimeters.
Talking about the camera, Vivo Y500 4G has a dual rear camera setup which has a 50-megapixel main camera with f/1.8 aperture. Apart from this, the rear setup also includes a 2-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture and LED flash. For selfies and video calls, the phone has a 32-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture.
Vivo Y500 4G has an 8,100mAh battery that supports 44W wired fast charging. For connectivity, this phone supports 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type-C port, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and QZSS. Its sensors include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass, proximity sensor, gyroscope and in-display fingerprint sensor for security. Its size is 163.73×76.18×8.19mm and weight is approximately 210 grams.
