Wakefit Innovation Limited’s Initial Public Offer of ₹ 1,288.89 crore i.e. Wakefit IPO has opened for public subscription from today. The company is going to sell a total of more than 6.6 crore shares through this offer. This issue will remain open till 10th December and listing will take place on 15th December.

Home furniture manufacturing company, brand already popular

Wakefit is one of those companies manufacturing home furniture and mattresses whose online presence has grown rapidly in the last few years. Price band ₹185 to ₹195, opportunity from today till 10th December

Allotment on 11th December and Listing on 15th December

Allotment of Wakefit shares will be done on 11th December and listing will be done on both the exchanges i.e. BSE and NSE on 15th December. This means investors will not have to wait long.

This IPO is a combination of Fresh Issue and Offer for Sale (OFS). The company will sell new shares worth about ₹ 377 crore in the Fresh Issue. Apart from this, promoters and existing shareholders are selling stake worth about ₹ 911.71 crore through OFS.

Minimum one lot—76 shares, total expenditure ₹14,820

If you want to make minimum investment then you will have to apply for one lot i.e. 76 shares. If the upper price band of IPO is considered to be ₹ 195, then ₹ 14,820 will be required for one lot. This is the minimum entry in the retail category. Talking about maximum bidding, retail investors can apply up to 14 lots i.e. 1,064 shares. According to this, the maximum investment will be approximately ₹ 2,07,480.

How much reserve for whom in the issue?

The company has reserved 75% quota of its issue for Qualified Institutional Buyers. 10% share is fixed separately for retail investors while 15% share has been given to non-institutional investors i.e. NII category.
