Due to increasing traffic, many people are now preferring automatic cars. However, automatic gearbox is usually only available in expensive or top models. For the first time, Kia has overcome this hurdle by offering cheaper automatic options in both diesel and turbo petrol engines:
Diesel Automatic i.e. 6AT: 1.5-litre engine and 6-speed torque converter with a starting price of just Rs 9.77 lakh (ex-showroom).
Turbo Petrol i.e. 7DCT: Price starts at Rs 9.89 lakh with 1.0-litre turbo engine and advanced 7-speed DCT gearbox.
The company has now also made these options available in budget variants like HTE(O), HTK(O) and HTK+.

The look and color is special

In the 2026 model of the Sonet, the company has added a new ‘Magma Red’ color to it, which makes the car look bolder and more attractive. Apart from this, 10 color options like Imperial Blue, Pewter Olive and Matte Graphite have been made available to the customers.

The tension of the contestants will increase

Due to the availability of advanced automatic technology in the market at such a low price, the tension of competitors is going to increase. Kia has posed a big challenge to the likes of Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue and Mahindra XUV 3XO. Kia has become the first company in this segment to offer gearboxes like torque converter and DCT under 10 lakhs.
