Wanted money, murdered friend on advice of Tantrik, arrested

A very surprising case has come to light from Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. According to the information, a young man was brutally murdered in the name of Tantra-Mantra and human sacrifice. On Friday, the police arrested the two main accused in this incident.

The name of the deceased was Naveen alias Nandu. He was a resident of Milk Vikas Nagar, Loni. According to the police, on January 16, 2026, Naveen’s brother lodged a complaint at Tronica City Police Station. After this the investigation started.

two accused arrested

Police have arrested two accused with the help of CCTV footage and local informers. Those arrested are Pawan (25 years), resident of Nishant Colony, Ghaziabad and Sagar alias Pandit (24 years), also resident of Nishant Colony, Ghaziabad. The third accused Naseem alias Iqbal is still absconding. The police is busy searching for him.

How did the murder happen?

The accused told the police that Naveen was their friend. They took him to Delhi where he met a Tantrik. The Tantrik said that by offering human sacrifice one can get great wealth and divine blessings.

Naveen jokingly or in conversation asked whether a friend could also be sacrificed. This very thing created a dangerous plan in the mind of the accused.

On the night of 13 January, everyone gathered in Sagar’s room. After drinking alcohol, they attacked Naveen with a gas cylinder and killed him. To destroy the evidence, the body was wrapped in a blanket, put in an auto with a battery and later the auto was set on fire.

Police have recovered the same battery auto and gas cylinder from the accused. Both the arrested accused have prior criminal records. Cases of murder, robbery, theft and Arms Act are already registered against him. Police investigation is ongoing and the third accused is also expected to be arrested soon.
