Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a meeting with Benjamin Netanyahu on ‘Bharatbandhu’ Iran during his visit to Israel. On his Twitter handle, Modi wrote, “I had a wonderful meeting with Prime Minister Netanyahu, during which I expressed my gratitude for the warm welcome this morning. I am glad to be back in Israel after nine years. We discussed various issues to deepen and strengthen the bilateral relations between the two countries. Like cooperation in technology, water resources management, agriculture, human capital etc. There is significant potential for expanding cooperation for both countries.” Along with this, Modi wrote, “We also discussed in depth the improvement of the situation in the region (Middle East).”

Netanyahu’s office also tweeted about the bilateral meeting. It is said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at Benjurian International Airport after the welcome ceremony. Netanyahu’s speech reads, ‘This is true friendship’.

Seeing him, Netanyahu addressed him as ‘dear friend’ and hugged him. He was accompanied by his wife Sara Netanyahu. Sara was wearing ocher clothes. Incidentally, the pocket square of Modi’s dress was also ocher in colour.
After exchanging courtesies with Netanyahu after getting off the plane, Modi can be heard saying, “Ocher!” Sara says of India in words, “Very beautiful country.” At that time, Netanyahu also started praising Modi. “He is a great leader,” he said. According to official sources, there is a Modi-Netanyahu meeting in Tel Aviv. Prime Minister Modi will leave for Jerusalem after that meeting.
