War flares up in Middle East, missile-drone attacks till Dubai, Qatar, Saudi and Iraq

Desk: The ongoing conflict between America, Israel and Iran in the Middle East is now taking a more dangerous form. In the last few hours, there have been reports of missile and drone attacks, interceptions and explosions from many countries of the Gulf region, after which the security alert has been increased in the entire region.

According to reports, the situation has become more tense after the US attacks on Kharg Island, Iran’s main oil export centre. According to Iranian media, air defense systems, naval bases and helicopter facilities were targeted there. However, the oil structure was not damaged.

The situation has changed rapidly in Gulf countries also. The army claimed to have intercepted a missile over Qatar’s capital Doha. Saudi Arabia informed that a drone has been shot down by an air defense system in its eastern region. Whereas in Dubai (UAE), air defense stopped an air attack, but the debris fallen after the interception fell on a building.

On the other hand, news of the helipad of the US Embassy complex located in Iraq’s capital Baghdad being targeted by a missile has also come to light. Following these incidents, military tensions and security concerns have increased across the Gulf region.
