Desk : The ongoing war in the Middle East is becoming more dangerous, due to which the security situation in Qatar has become critical. The Qatar government has issued a security alert across the country and asked people to stay indoors immediately. Qatar’s Interior Ministry sent emergency messages to mobile phones informing them of the increased security threat level and warning people to remain alert.
A series of missile and drone attacks
According to reports, a series of missile and drone attacks from Iran on Gulf countries are continuing, due to which the situation in the Gulf region has become more tense. Due to these attacks, air defense systems are continuously active in Qatar, UAE, Bahrain and other countries.
According to sources, sounds like explosions were heard in Qatar’s capital Doha and surrounding areas, which were the result of air defense intercepting missiles and drones. This situation indicates increasing danger and insecurity in the Gulf countries.
Taking the security situation seriously, the Qatar government has advised citizens to stay at home and avoid any kind of outdoor activities. Also, security forces and air defense systems have been instructed to remain alert at all times.
