Team India announced for the second and third test against New Zealand, BCCI made big changes after the defeat

Sports Desk, Obnews: A three-match Test series is being played between India and New Zealand. Team India had to face defeat in the first match of this series. BCCI had announced the team for the first match of this series only. Now, due to the defeat in the first match, BCCI has taken a big decision and made a change for the second match.

Team India has included Washington Sundar in the team for the second and third test matches. Apart from this, no other player has been released. The Indian team has further strengthened its spin unit for the remaining two matches of the series. The second match of the series will be played in Pune and the third match in Mumbai.

According to some reports, it is believed that the match to be held in Pune will be played on black soil. Where spin bowlers are expected to have more dominance. This is the reason why BCCI has given Sundar a chance for the remaining two matches of this series. Sundar played his last Test match for the Indian team against England in the year 2021.

Talking about the first Test match played between India and New Zealand, Team India had to face defeat by 8 wickets in this match. In this match, Team India, batting first, was all out for 46 runs. After this New Zealand had scored 402 runs. The Indian team made a good comeback in the second innings and scored 462 runs. Along with this, Team India had given New Zealand a target of 107 runs to win. Which the Kiwi team achieved very easily and took a 1-0 lead in the series.
