Having wrapped up the first Test inside four days, the Indian team has landed in Kanpur for the second match against Bangladesh aiming for a 2-0 clean sweep. In a dominant show in Chennai, the hosts brushed aside their neighbours for a 280-run win in the series opener.

Ahead of the 2nd Test, a video is going viral of India head coach Gautam Gambhir sharing a buggy ride with batting superstar Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant.

Kohli and Gambhir have a history on heated on-field exchanges but since the latter’s appointment as the India head coach, they have been consistently spotted sharing a laugh or two.

During the Chennai Test, a clip of Gambhir losing it out after a remark from Kohli as they sat in the pavilion was widely shared on social media.

The two addressed their past skirmishes in a recent interaction, clarifying there’s no bad blood.

Earlier this year, Gambhir had said his relation with Kohli isn’t for public consumption. “The perception is far away from the reality. My relation with Virat Kohli is something this country doesn’t need to know. He has as much right as I do to express himself and help our respective teams win. Our relation is not to give masala to the public,” Gambhir had told Sportskeeda.

In an event Kohli had claimed that since he’s made peace with his rivals, people are disappointed that there’s no more “masala”.

The latest clash between Kohli and Gambhir was triggered after the former persistently sledged Naveen-ul-Haq during an IPL 2023 match between Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

“People are very disappointed with my behaviour. I hugged Naveen, and then the other day, Gauti bhai came and hugged me. Your masala is over, so you’re booing. We’re not kids anymore,” Kohli had said during an event.
