WATCH: Jitesh Sharma produces lightning reflex run out to get rid of dangerous Quinton de Kock
NEW DELHI: India’s wicketkeeper Jitesh Sharma pulled off a stunning reflex run out to break a blistering Quinton de Kock knock in the second T20I. It was one of those rare moments where awareness and sharp glovework changed the course of an innings in a flash.

The moment unfolded when Varun Chakaravarthy pushed through a flatter ball outside off. De Kock tried to guide it fine but managed only an under edge to the keeper. He instinctively took a step out of his crease, assuming the ball was dead.

Jitesh reacted instantly. He gathered the ball cleanly, whipped off the bails in one motion, and caught de Kock short before he could drag his bat in. The South African opener, who had dominated the Indian attack with clean strokes all evening, fell agonizingly on 90.
De Kock’s knock carried extra weight because he walked in after two consecutive ducks in his previous T20I innings. He responded with a stirring return to form, scoring 90 from 46 balls with five fours and seven sixes at a strike rate of 195.65.
It was a clean powerful effort filled with pure timing and classic strokes that reminded everyone of his class even though he missed a century.
