Jake Fraser McGurk flopped in front of Naseem Shah, Pakistani bowler celebrated the wicket with a roar
In the ongoing first ODI match between Australia and Pakistan, Naseem Shah once again showed his skills by giving important success to his team. He gave a big wicket to Pakistan by dismissing Jake Fraser-McGurk at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Monday. Fraser-McGurk, famous for his stormy batting, could score only 16 runs in only 14 balls in this match.
In the fourth over of the Australian innings, Naseem bowled a short of the length ball on the stump line, Fraser-McGurk, standing in the crease without using his legs, tried to pull it to the mid-wicket area but due to wrong timing he missed the ball. Irfan Khan, deployed at on-field, was caught and thus McGurk flopped in another match.
Talking about this match, Pakistan cricket team has given a target of 204 runs to Australia to win in the first ODI match. Pakistan had a bad start, the opening pair of Abdullah Shafiq and Saim Ayub were out with a total score of 24 runs and returned to the pavilion. After this, Babar Azam and captain Mohammad Rizwan together controlled the innings a bit. Rizwan scored 44 runs in 71 balls and Babar scored 37 runs in 44 balls.
Apart from this, Shaheen Afridi played an excellent inning of 24 runs in 19 balls and Naseem Shah played an excellent inning of 40 runs in 39 balls. Due to which Pakistan scored 203 runs in 46.4 overs. Mitchell Starc bowled brilliantly for Australia and took 3 wickets. Apart from this, Adam Zampa and captain Pat Cummins took 2-2 wickets, Sean Abbott and Marnus Labuschagne took 1-1 wicket in their account.
