2026 FIFA World Cup came to an end with an eventful day at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
The tournament, which was co-hosted by US, Canada and Mexico, ended with Spain emerging as the winners.
The final match between Spain and Argentina featured the first ever Halftime show fo the tournament history, but it did not please many.
English legend Wayne Rooney slammed the show calling it “crap”.
While speaking on BBC with Gabby Logan, Wayne expressed his dislike for the show.
He said “I like a lot of them artists, but I thought it was crap.”
The show featured performances by Madonna, Justin Bieber, BTS, Shakira and more.
Madonna began the show with Brazil legends Ronaldinho and Ronaldo Nazario.
The Kpop sensation performed their song Dynamite meanwhile, Justin Bieber sang his 2025 song EVERYTHING HALLELUJAH.
Shakira performed her world cup song Dai Dai.
It also had a cameo from Jason Sudeikis as his Ted Lasso character.
The show lasted for 27 minutes and 22 seconds, which was the longest in World Cup history.
