ICC Champions Trophy 2025: This time the hosting of ICC Champions Trophy is in the hands of Pakistan, but Team India has refused to tour Pakistan due to security reasons. On the other hand, Pakistan Cricket Board is also not ready for hybrid model. Now the conflict regarding this tournament is increasing. Now a big statement from Pakistan Cricket Board President Mohsin Naqvi has come out regarding this.

Pakistan does not want hybrid model

Regarding Champions Trophy 2025, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi said in a press conference that, we do not want a hybrid model, we will ensure that the Champions Trophy is held in Pakistan. We have written a letter to ICC, we are waiting for the reply. I believe that sports and politics should not be mixed together. I am just hoping for a positive outcome.” Pakistan Cricket has also written a letter to ICC regarding this. After which PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi is now waiting for the reply from ICC.

He further said that every ICC member has his own rights and I feel that no one can put us in trouble. ICC should also think about its credibility. Every team is ready to come to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy. If India has any concerns then I suggest them to talk to us.
