He mocked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s 'Ek Hai To Surakshit Hai' slogan and accused the party of giving priority to the interests of industrialist Gautam Adani over the people of Maharashtra.
During the press conference, Gandhi brought a safe and took out a poster of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Adani from it and said, “As long as they are together, they are safe.”
The second poster he took out from the safe showed the map of Adani Group's Dharavi Redevelopment Project. Gandhi alleged that the vault was a symbol of Mumbai's wealth, which Adani was targeting with the support of the BJP-led government.
“The redevelopment of Dharavi is not appropriate and is being done only to benefit one person,” he said. We do not understand how the tender is being given. All the ports, airports and properties of India are being given to just one person.''(pti)
