We want elections not through EVM but through ballot paper, we will run a nationwide campaign for this… Mallikarjun Kharge

New Delhi. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has demanded elections through ballot paper. He said that a nationwide campaign will be launched regarding this. Kharge said these things while addressing the Constitution Rakshak Abhiyan in New Delhi. He said, the Constitution was not made just like that, the Congress Party worked very hard to prepare it. Babasaheb Ambedkar ji had an important contribution in making it. Many people think that it was made very easily, while the members of the Constituent Assembly discussed day and night. All the members together used to discuss every point in detail, then Babasaheb Ambedkar ji used to answer them.

Some people praise the Constitution, salute it and show devotion to it. But deep inside they want to abolish the Constitution. Rahul Gandhi ji had also taken out 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' to save democracy and the Constitution. In this journey, the people of the country joined him and people from every section of the society came with him.

During this he said, we do not want elections through EVM. We want elections through ballot paper. Just like we had launched 'Bharat Jodo Yatra', we will run a nationwide campaign for elections through ballot paper. Also said, if BJP people really want unity in the country, then they will have to give up hatred. Modi ji always talks about spreading hatred and blames us. Whereas the truth is that Congress made the Constitution to keep the country united and to give equal rights.
