New Delhi, 17 October (Hindustan Reporter). Mixed signals are being received from the global market today. There was an atmosphere of enthusiasm in the American market during the last session. However, Dow Johns Futures seems to be trading with a decline today. European markets closed with mixed results during the last session. Mixed trading is taking place in Asian markets also today.
There was an atmosphere of enthusiasm in the US market during the last session. Dow Jones closed with a gain of 330 points. Similarly, the S&P 500 index ended the last session’s trading at 5,842.47 points with a gain of 0.47 percent. Apart from this, Nasdaq closed at the level of 18,367.08 points with a rise of 0.28 percent. At the same time, Dow Johns Futures is currently seen trading at the level of 43,013.96 points with a weakness of 0.15 percent.
There was mixed trading in the European market during the last session. The FTSE index closed at 8,329.07 points with a gain of 0.96 percent. On the other hand, the CAC index ended the previous session trading at 7,492 points with a decline of 0.40 per cent. Apart from this, DAX index fell by 0.27 percent and closed at the level of 19,432.81 points.
Mixed trading is also being seen in Asian markets today. Out of 9 markets in Asia, the indices of 6 are trading in the green mark with gains, while 3 indices remain in the red mark with a decline. GIFT Nifty is trading at the level of 25,030.50 points with a weakness of 0.16 percent. Similarly, Nikkei index declined by 178.27 points or 0.45 percent and reached the level of 39,002.03 points. Apart from this, Kospi index has fallen by 0.05 percent to the level of 2,608.99 points.
On the other hand, the Straits Times Index is trading at the level of 3,621.75 points with a strength of 0.87 percent. Similarly, Hang Seng Index has reached the level of 20,426.21 points with a gain of 0.69 percent. Apart from this, Taiwan Weighted Index jumped 102.38 points or 0.44 percent to the level of 23,113.36 points, Set Composite Index rose by 0.65 percent to the level of 1,494.67 points, Jakarta Composite Index rose by 0.61 percent to the level of 7,695.62 points and Shanghai Composite Index rose by 0.61 percent to the level of 7,695.62 points. The indices are trading at the level of 3,205.95 points with a slight rise of 0.09 per cent.
