Weather Alert and Rainfall Forecast Across India for the Upcoming Week

Multiple cyclonic circulations and troughs currently influence India’s weather patterns. Weather Alert and Rainfall Forecast: An upper air cyclonic circulation is observed over northwest Madhya Pradesh, while another cyclonic circulation is present over South Gujarat. Additionally, a trough runs from the Comorin area to Rayalaseema in lower tropospheric levels. These systems are expected to cause widespread rainfall across various regions.

East & Northeast India: Weather Alert and Rainfall Forecast

Fairly widespread to widespread light to moderate rainfall is predicted over Assam and Meghalaya throughout the week. Similar conditions are expected over Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura during the next two days, followed by widespread rainfall for the rest of the week. Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Bihar, and Odisha will also experience scattered to widespread rainfall. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, and the northeastern states between October 2nd and 5th.

South Peninsular India Forecast: Weather Alert and Rainfall Forecast

The southern regions will see widespread light to moderate rainfall, particularly in Kerala, Mahe, and Coastal Karnataka. Interior Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana will witness scattered rainfall throughout the week. Heavy rain is expected in South Interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Kerala from September 30th to October 1st.

West & Central India Forecast: Weather Alert and Rainfall Forecast

Central India will experience scattered to fairly widespread light to moderate rainfall, especially in Konkan & Goa. Rainfall will be scattered in most parts of central India, while dry weather is likely to prevail in Saurashtra and Kutch starting from October 2nd.

Northwest India Forecast: Weather Alert and Rainfall Forecast

Uttarakhand, East Uttar Pradesh, and East Rajasthan will witness isolated to scattered rainfall over the week. After the first two days, most of the region will experience dry weather for the subsequent five days. Stay informed and prepared for changing weather conditions, especially in regions expecting heavy rainfall.
