India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert from March 23 to March 26-28. During this period, there can be rain, thunder and lightning in more than 15 states along with strong winds blowing at a speed of 30 to 50 kilometers per hour. There is also a warning of hailstorm in some areas.

This season is a matter of concern for farmers because strong winds and rain can damage the crops standing in the fields. Therefore, farmers are being advised to go out in the open as little as possible, take necessary steps to keep their crops safe and remain alert. Due to this rain and storm, the temperature may drop by 4 to 5 degrees Celsius, which will provide some relief from the heat. How will be the weather in Delhi today?

Light rain was seen in Delhi-NCR on March 23, due to which the temperature dropped further. Strong winds may blow in the morning and afternoon. The maximum temperature can be 28 degrees Celsius and the minimum can be 18 degrees Celsius. After March 25, the temperature may again rise above 35 degrees. There will also be a slight reduction in pollution.

How will the weather be in Uttar Pradesh tomorrow?

There is less possibility of rain in UP on March 23, but strong winds may continue for 3-4 days. Then there is an alert of heavy rain and storm from March 27. It may rain especially in districts like Kanpur, Lucknow, Agra, Mathura, Aligarh, Meerut, Noida, Bareilly.

Weather condition in Bihar

There will be a period of rain and storm in Bihar from 24 to 28 March. Many districts like West Champaran, East Champaran, Siwan, Gopalganj, Saran, Bhojpur, Buxar, Rohtas, Aurangabad, Gaya, Nawada, Sheikhpura may be affected. The maximum temperature in Patna on March 23 can be 29 degrees and the minimum can be 20 degrees.

How will the weather be in Uttarakhand today?

There is a warning of heavy rain and storm in Uttarakhand on 23 March. It may rain in districts like Dehradun, Nainital, Chamoli, Pithoragarh, Bageshwar, Rudraprayag. People are advised to be very careful. The maximum temperature in Dehradun can be 22 degrees and the minimum can be 12 degrees. There will be rain again from 27th to 29th March.

North-West India (Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh)

• Here the Meteorological Department has given an alert of heavy rain and storm from March 23 to March 26. Winds can blow at a speed of 30 to 50 kilometers per hour. Strong winds (30-40 km/hr) along with thunderstorms are likely over East Rajasthan on March 23 and 25.
• There will be rain and strong winds in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and surrounding areas on March 26.
• Himachal and Uttarakhand may experience thunderstorms with light to moderate rain/snow on March 23.

Eastern India (Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal)

• This area is going to be most affected. There is a warning of thunderstorms, strong gales (30-50 km/hr) and rain from March 24 to 28. Heavy rains and strong winds of 50 km/hr may occur in West Bengal on March 24, 27 and 28 in the Ganga plains.
• There will be rain and storm in Bihar, Jharkhand and Odisha from 24 to 28 March. Hail may also fall at some places
