The heat wave has started wreaking havoc since the month of April. Indian by Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned of rain with thunder for 15 states including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Madhya Pradesh. A rain warning has been issued for all the northeastern states including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Madhya Pradesh. Besides, a heat wave warning has been issued for West Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha, as well as Chhattisgarh, East Uttar Pradesh, East Rajasthan and East Madhya Pradesh for severe heat wave and thundershowers.
On Monday, April 20, Delhi is likely to see a maximum temperature of 39 to 41 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 20 to 22 degrees Celsius. Minimum temperature will remain normal in most parts. In the morning, winds can blow at a speed of 15 kilometers per hour. According to the Meteorological Department, no change in weather is expected on April 21.

Weather in Uttar Pradesh
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a heat wave warning for Varanasi, Bhadohi, Mirzapur, Jaunpur, Deoria and Gorakhpur in eastern Uttar Pradesh on 20 and 21 April. Cities like Prayagraj, Varanasi, Sultanpur, Agra, Barabanki, Bahraich, Shahjahanpur and Hardoi are recording much higher than normal temperatures, marking the onset of heat wave.
In Uttar Pradesh, Prayagraj recorded a maximum temperature of 44.6 degrees Celsius, Varanasi 44.2 degrees Celsius and Banda 43.6 degrees Celsius. Many other districts including Sultanpur, Barabanki and Bahraich also recorded temperatures above 42 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Center in Lucknow, dry westerly winds are contributing to the increase in temperature.

According to the Meteorological Department forecast, Bihar is likely to witness thunderstorms with gusty winds on April 23. According to the forecast of scientists, it will be extremely hot after this afternoon and the risk of heat stroke may increase. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning for the eastern part of Bihar, especially the Seemanchal region.
Himachal Pradesh is likely to experience dry weather between 20th and 25th April. According to Shimla Meteorological Department forecast, a new westerly wind system may affect the Himalayan region from April 23. Rain is likely in medium and high hilly areas on April 20, 24 and 25.

Andhra Pradesh is likely to receive thundershowers between April 20 and 23, Telangana and Karnataka between April 20 and 22. Light to moderate rain, thundershowers and gusty winds are likely over Kerala and Mahe between 20 and 23 April, and over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal on 22 and 23 April. In Maharashtra, many states are witnessing a hot summer and Vidarbha is likely to experience temperatures above 45 degrees Celsius.
