Weather of May 30, alert of rain, storm and strong winds in many states of the country
New Delhi: The weather patterns seem to be changing continuously across the country. According to the Meteorological Department, rain, strong storms and thunderstorms will continue in many states on May 30. Warnings of bad weather have been issued in many areas from North India to South and North-Eastern states. People are likely to get relief from the heat due to strong winds and rain, although at some places it may affect life.
Chance of rain with thunder in Uttar Pradesh
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain with thunderstorms in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan and Western Uttar Pradesh on Saturday. During this period, strong winds can blow at a speed of 50 to 70 kilometers per hour. There is also a possibility of hailstorm in some areas. Due to changes in the weather, the maximum temperature may drop by 3 to 5 degrees Celsius, which will provide relief to people from the scorching heat.
The effect of rain and strong winds will also be seen in the central Indian states of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Vidarbha region of Maharashtra. The Meteorological Department says that stormy activities with thunder and lightning will continue in these areas. Heat wave conditions have reduced in some parts of Rajasthan and Gujarat, but heat can still be felt during the day. There is a possibility that the instability of the weather will affect agriculture and transportation.
The weather remains active in South India also. Heavy to very heavy rain is expected in many parts of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala, Lakshadweep and Andhra Pradesh. In coastal areas, winds can blow at a speed of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour. There is a possibility of moderate rain and thunderstorm in some parts of Karnataka also. The Meteorological Department has warned that due to continuous rain, waterlogging and flood-like situations may occur at some places. Fishermen and people living in coastal areas have been advised to remain alert.
There is also a possibility of heavy rain in Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh of Eastern and North-Eastern India. There may be torrential rains in Sikkim and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a danger of flood-like situation due to continuous rain in the north-eastern states.

Experts say that due to continuation of rain activities in most parts of the country till the end of May, the temperature will come down and the effect of extreme heat may weaken.
