Weather Update: Dense fog and severe cold continue to wreak havoc in UP, life affected, visibility near zero.

There was dense fog along with severe cold in most parts of Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday morning, due to which visibility became very low and the drivers had to face a lot of trouble. In many cities, vehicles were seen moving slowly with headlights on. Dense fog in the capital Lucknow reduced visibility on the roads to near zero. Cold winds slowed down traffic.

Similarly, a blanket of dense fog remained over Sambhal city, while the cold wave made the weather even colder. Due to this, normal life got disrupted. People are taking help of fire to escape the cold. Dense fog blanketed Varanasi around 8 am, affecting daily life. Local people said that the cold has taken a severe form. Due to fog, there is a lot of difficulty in riding a bike.

He told that they are wearing very warm clothes to protect themselves from cold and are going out of their homes less. In the morning, dense fog covered the entire Ayodhya city, visibility remained very low even around the Ram temple complex. Devotees and local people faced problems in transportation. However, devotees praised the arrangements made by the government. He said that amid the cold, facilities are being provided to the devotees for movement and darshan.

Severe cold and cold wave are wreaking havoc in Noida city of Uttar Pradesh and surrounding areas adjacent to the national capital Delhi. Meanwhile, dense fog has further increased the problems of the people. In Amethi district too, people were seen facing problems due to low visibility due to dense fog. Apart from this, people were seen resorting to bonfires on the roadside in the cold.
