Heat like June in March! Weather will change from March 14, alert of rain and strong winds in many states including Delhi-UP

Nowadays it is the month of March, but the heat is so intense that it seems as if June-July has arrived. Many people are troubled by this scorching heat, sweat, humidity, fatigue, everything is troubling them. But the good news is that now there is no need to take much tension. According to the Meteorological Department, rain is going to come soon in many parts of the country. A new Western Disturbance is about to become active, due to which there will be a positive change in the weather. This will provide some relief from the heat, the air will cool and the temperature will also come down.

What will happen in Delhi?

The heat has increased considerably in the capital Delhi. The sun is strong during the day and the temperature is much higher than normal (about 35-37 degrees). But the good thing is that the weather will start changing from tomorrow i.e. 14th March. A new western disturbance will come, due to which the sky will become cloudy in the evening. Light rain or drizzle may also occur in some areas. This will reduce the heat and the weather will become slightly pleasant. Today the weather will be clear throughout the day, but clouds may start appearing in the evening.

The country’s largest state UP is also in the grip of heat. Today the weather will be completely clear, the sun will shine and the feeling of summer will be strong. But the weather will start deteriorating in the next 48 hours i.e. from 14-15 March. There will be dark clouds in the sky, strong winds will blow (at a speed of 30-40 km/hr) and there will be light rain or drizzle at many places. This will provide relief to people from the heat.

Heat will increase further in Bihar today

Today the weather will be dry in Bihar, the sun will be strong and the heat will be felt more. But the news of relief is that there may be good rains in the state between March 15 and 17. Meteorological Department has issued an alert:

• On March 15, there may be cloud cover and rain in districts like Seemanchal (Purnia, Araria, Kishanganj, Supaul, Katihar) and West/East Champaran, Sitamarhi, Shivhar, Madhubani, Kaimur, Rohtas, Aurangabad.
• On March 16, there is an alert of thunderstorm and rain in Patna, Gaya, Jehanabad, Nalanda, Nawada, Sheikhpura, Begusarai, Lakhisarai and many districts of East Bihar. Overall, the rain will reduce the heat and the weather will become cool and fresh.

Rain and snowfall in the mountains in Uttarakhand

The weather will be bad in the hilly state of Uttarakhand today (13 March) and tomorrow (14 March). There will be light rain in many areas and snowfall is also possible in higher areas. This will bring down the temperature and you will feel cool. After this, there is an alert of heavy rain in the entire state on 15-16 March. People traveling in the mountains should be careful, because the roads can be slippery.

Himachal Pradesh update

The weather patterns are changing in Himachal also. Snowfall continues in higher areas like Lahaul-Spiti, while it is raining intermittently in lower areas. The weather in Manali today will be the same as yesterday, cold and a mixture of rain/snow. Both tourists and local people are benefiting from this rain and snowfall, because there is relief from the heat and tourism is also increasing.
