Weather Update: Weather patterns changed in the country, heavy rain alert issued in these states
Weather Update: This year the monsoon season was excellent across the country. It rained heavily in almost all the states and record-breaking rainfall was recorded at many places. Rivers, ponds and dams were completely filled, while due to good rains the temperature dropped and people got relief from the scorching heat. Although the monsoon has ended, even after this the rains have not stopped in many states. Now once again the weather has taken a turn.
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert of heavy rain in many parts of the country on 15, 16 and 17 December. There is also a possibility of heavy rain in some areas along with strong winds and snowfall in hilly areas.
Weather changed in Himachal Pradesh
Himachal Pradesh had witnessed heavy rains during monsoon this year. After the monsoon, the weather remained calm for some time, but in the last few days, rainy season has started again in the state. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be heavy rain in Himachal Pradesh between December 15 and 17. There are also chances of snowfall in high altitude areas, due to which the cold may increase further.
It will rain again in Arunachal Pradesh
Arunachal Pradesh also received good rainfall during the monsoon, but the rain stopped as soon as the monsoon left. Now the weather has taken a turn here too. According to IMD, there may be heavy clouds once again in Arunachal Pradesh on 15, 16 and 17 December.
Alert of heavy rain in these states
The Meteorological Department has also issued a warning of heavy rain in many other states and union territories of the country. There is a possibility of heavy rain in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Andaman and Nicobar and Puducherry between 15 and 17 December. During this period, an alert has also been issued for snowfall in the hilly areas and strong wind and storm in the plains.
Effect of cold in Rajasthan and Delhi
Rajasthan and Delhi witnessed good rainfall during and immediately after the monsoon. Now the weather trend has changed in both these states and the cold has started increasing gradually. According to the Meteorological Department, the effect of cold will continue in Rajasthan and Delhi on 15, 16 and 17 December, although there is no possibility of cold wave.
