Weather will change again in UP! In which cities will there be heavy rain and where will there be drought?

In Uttar Pradesh, both the indifference and kindness of monsoon are being seen simultaneously. The Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a rain alert in the entire state till July 23, under which there is a possibility of heavy rain in many areas on Monday. However, despite the monsoon being fully active, some cities like Kanpur are still yearning for good rains. There is a huge difference in the weather patterns in different parts of the state.

Cloud drama in Kanpur, no rain

In Kanpur, the Meteorological Department had issued a simultaneous alert of heat day and rain, but the city residents did not get complete respite from the sultry heat. The monsoon trough line is passing through Hardoi, the effect of which is visible in some districts of the state, but the luck of Kanpur is not favoring it at the moment. There were light showers in the Cantt area of the city, but in the rest of the city it was only cloudy and there was no rain. A slight drop in the temperature has been recorded, bringing the mercury down to 34.6 degrees Celsius, but the humidity still persists. The Meteorological Department says that there are less chances of heavy rain in Kanpur and only light to moderate rain can occur here.

Hope of relief in Agra and Meerut

There is a relief news for Taj city Agra. People here who have been suffering from heat and humidity for a long time may get the gift of heavy rain for three days from Monday. There has been no good rain in the district since July 4, due to which the pace of monsoon had slowed down. Now the Meteorological Department has warned of increase in cloud movement from Sunday and heavy rain from Monday. At the same time, a big alert has also been issued for Meerut and West UP. There is a possibility of widespread rain across West UP from July 20 to 24. The Meteorological Department has warned that life in Meerut may be affected due to heavy rains during this period.

uneven mood of monsoon

This uneven behavior of monsoon in the state remains a matter of concern. While rains are continuing in some parts of Eastern and South UP due to the low pressure area formed in the Bay of Bengal, activity is now increasing in Western UP as well. From the mountains to the plains, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rain for the coming four-five days. At present, the heat day conditions are expected to be postponed till Monday and the humidity is expected to gradually reduce.
