Web of love, controversy and allegations: POCSO action against four people in viral girl case

New Delhi. The case related to a young woman who made her mark during the Kumbh Mela has now reached a new and serious turn. This girl, resident of Khargone, Madhya Pradesh, has filed a complaint under the POCSO Act against four persons in Kerala, due to which this matter has once again come into the center of discussion. The incident has become even more sensitive because the names of a film director and a leader associated with an organization are included in this complaint. Police have registered the case and started investigation and further legal process is underway.

The girl has alleged that the film director who had given her the opportunity to work in his film, behaved inappropriately with her several times during the shooting. He says that during this period he suffered a lot mentally and emotionally. The girl also told that she had informed her family about this matter, but she did not get the expected support, which increased her problems further. The matter has become more serious after this allegation came to light.

Along with this, the girl has also made allegations against a VHP leader and a lawyer by profession. According to her, the said person tried to tarnish her image through social media. On this basis, the police have registered ‘Zero FIR’, due to which this case can be transferred to any area. It is believed that it may be sent to Madhya Pradesh for further investigation, as the alleged incidents are said to be related there.

This matter was already in controversy, especially regarding the marriage of the girl. The girl had married a young man in the temple, claiming herself to be an adult, while her parents made a different claim regarding her age. Due to this dispute, a case was registered earlier also under kidnapping and POCSO law. However, the situation later became more complicated due to temporary relief from the court.

Another aspect has come to light in this entire incident, in which the girl has expressed concern about her safety. He alleges that an attempt was made to forcibly take him from one place to another. Because of this, police of different states have also become active in this matter. Currently, the case is based on multiple aspects, including issues like age dispute, marriage, alleged harassment and social pressure.
