Wedding celebration in Bihar turns into mourning… Two parties clash during dance programme, 17-year-old boy dies in fight
Jehanabad: A violent clash during a wedding ceremony in Bihar’s Jehanabad district turned the atmosphere of happiness into mourning. A minor dispute that started during the dance program soon escalated to such an extent that sticks and sticks started being used. A 17-year-old teenager was seriously injured in this clash, who later died during treatment. After the incident, sensation spread in the entire area and there is an atmosphere of mourning in the village of the deceased.
This incident took place in Baina village of Ghosi police station area of Jehanabad district. The wedding program of Surendra Chaudhary’s daughter was going on here. The marriage procession had come from Fatehpur village of Didarganj police station area of Patna district. Along with the wedding rituals, a dance program was also organized for entertainment, in which dancers were performing. Meanwhile, an altercation broke out over some issue between some youths attending the wedding procession and some people from the girl’s side. Initially it was limited to debate only, but gradually the matter became serious and fighting started between the two parties.

Within no time the dispute escalated so much that some people picked up sticks and attacked the youth who came in the procession. The people of the wedding party got scared due to the sudden attack and started running here and there to save their lives. 17 year old Sunny Kumar was seriously injured during this fight. Due to the chaos at that time, no one could know exactly where he was.
Teenager found injured in field
After some time, when people started searching for the relatives and acquaintances who had come with them, Sunny Kumar was found lying injured in the field. He was unconscious and had serious injury marks on his body. Family members and others immediately took him to Jehanabad Sadar Hospital for treatment. Seeing his condition serious, the doctors there referred him to PMCH hospital in Patna for better treatment.
Sunny Kumar was being taken to Patna via ambulance, but he died on the way. As soon as this news came out, there was mourning in the family and village. The deceased has been identified as Sunny Kumar, son of Sadan Pandit, resident of Fatehpur village in Patna district. It is being told that he had come with his relatives to join the procession.
Police started investigation
After getting information about the incident, the police became active. The body was brought to Ghosi police station, where necessary legal procedures were completed. After this the body was sent to Jehanabad Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. In this case, based on the statement of the deceased’s father, the police have registered a case against unknown people. SDPO Sanjeev Kumar said that investigation into the matter has been started and efforts are being made to identify the culprits. Police say that strict action will be taken against the people involved in the incident.
