Wedding DJ reveals awkward Brooklyn–Victoria dance that left Nicola in tears

The DJ who played at Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz’s wedding has shared fresh details about the much-discussed dance floor incident involving Victoria Beckham that reportedly left the bride in tears.

DJ Fat Tony, who has worked at several Beckham family events, spoke about the moment during an interview on ITV’s This Morning on Friday. He described the incident as one of the most uncomfortable scenes of the three-day wedding celebration held in Palm Beach, Florida, in April 2022.

According to the DJ, confusion unfolded when singer Marc Anthony, who was performing live at the wedding, invited Brooklyn onto the stage. Guests assumed this would lead to Brooklyn and Nicola sharing their first dance as newlyweds.

Instead, Marc Anthony unexpectedly called Victoria Beckham onto the stage, referring to her as “the most beautiful woman in the room.” Victoria joined her son, while Nicola reportedly left the room in tears.

DJ Fat Tony said Brooklyn appeared visibly upset, believing he was about to share an intimate first dance with his wife. He added that the situation grew more uncomfortable when Marc Anthony encouraged a Latin-style dance between Brooklyn and his mother, leaving guests shocked and uneasy.

The DJ noted that the incident became the main topic of conversation among wedding guests the following morning during brunch, calling it the “most awkward” part of the entire celebration.
