‘Wedding of VIROSH’: Rashmika Mandanna–Vijay Deverakonda make their relationship official ahead of wedding; pen special note for fans

The wait is finally over as one of the most loved couples, Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, have made their relationship official on social media. On Sunday, the couple took to their Instagram stories to announce that they are getting married. They shared a heartfelt note confirming the big news.

The couple revealed that their wedding hashtag will be #VIROSH

In their Instagram stories, Vijay and Rashmika shared that their wedding will officially be known as “The Wedding of VIROSH.” They explained that the name was not inspired by wedding planners or family traditions, but by their fans, who had lovingly combined their names into “VIROSH” years ago.

Their note read, “Our Dearest Loves, Before we made any plans, before we chose anything for ourselves, you were already there. With so much love, you gave us a name. You called us ‘VIROSH’. So today,  with full hearts, we name our coming together in your honour. We would like to name it, ‘The Wedding of VIROSH’. Thank you for holding us with so much love. You are a part of us — always. Biggest hugs and full love.”

On Saturday, the couple was spotted at the Delhi airport as they headed for their wedding celebrations. They are all set to tie the knot on February 26 in Udaipur.

Rashmika hid her engagement ring?

On Saturday, Rashmika and Vijay were spotted separately at the Delhi airport. Both kept a low profile, wearing face masks. However, one small detail caught everyone’s attention. In a now-viral video, Rashmika was seen walking into the airport dressed in a grey sweatshirt and a maxi skirt. As cameras zoomed in, fans noticed what appeared to be a diamond ring on her finger. Moments later, she seemed to pull down her sweater sleeve, leading many to speculate that she was trying to hide her engagement ring.

When paps congratulated her amid the wedding rumours, she simply smiled and waled away.

Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna first worked together in the 2018 Telugu hit Geetha Govindam. Their on-screen chemistry made them fan favourites, and they later reunited for Dear Comrade in 2019.
