Wednesday is one of the most anticipated shows across all international streaming services and provides a darkly humorous and haunting spin on the Addams family through the sharp-tongued anti-hero, Wednesday Adams. After Season 2’s dramatic cliffhangers and high emotion, viewers are looking forward to Season 3. Expect more suspenseful mysteries, supernatural elements, family eccentricities, and razor-sharp wit at Nevermore Academy until the fall of 2025. Filming on Season 3 began in February 2026 in the Dublin area with Jenna Ortega in the title role.

The production of Wednesday’s Season 3 commenced in February 2026. Filming took place in Dublin and outlying areas of Ireland, according to Netflix, which announced both the commencement of filming, the cast announcement, and a first look teaser on February 23, 2026.

No release date has been established; however, based on the projected production schedule and post-production requirements of the series (VFX, gothic set design, music, etc.), most credible sources indicate it will be available in 2027. A late 2026 launch date is not realistically achievable.

The third season of the show was confirmed as part of Netflix’s commitment to this IP, receiving an early renewal in July of 2025, even before the second season’s completion and release.
