Special Trains For Tirupati : Tirupati Balaji is known as a popular pilgrimage site in the country. Located on the Tirumala hills in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh, devotees from all over the country come in large numbers to visit Balaji. A large number of devotees visit Balaji from Maharashtra too. Against this backdrop, the Ministry of Railways has decided to convert the Hisar-Tirupati special train into a regular service. Special Trains For Tirupati currently running as 04717/04718 Hisar-Tirupati Special will now permanently run as 14723/14724 Hisar-Tirupati Express. Whereas in return journey, train 14724 Tirupati-Hissar Express will leave Tirupati at 2:10 PM on Monday and reach Hisar at 10:40 PM on Wednesday. This train is running from Maharashtra and has been halted at Nagpur railway station.

Officials also believe that the regular service will improve passenger comfort, safety, cleanliness and schedule reliability.
