‘Welcome to the Jungle’ explodes at the box office: Competition with ‘Alpha’ on the 8th day, know how much Akshay’s film earned

Akshay Kumar’s multi-starrer comedy film ‘Welcome to the Jungle’, released on June 26, has maintained a strong hold at the box office. After completion of 8 days of release, the release of Alia Bhatt and Bobby Deol’s film ‘Alpha’ in theaters on Friday has made the competition interesting. Has the throne of Akshay’s film been shaken with the arrival of ‘Alpha’? Early trends and box office figures are telling a different story. Even on the 8th day, i.e. on the second Friday of the release of ‘Welcome to the Jungle’, this film of Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty, Raveena Tandon and Disha Patani has retained its shine. According to the initial reports of ‘Sacknilk’, the film has earned around Rs 3.80 crore at the domestic box office on Friday. These figures are expected to increase further by the night, due to which there are full chances of the film reaching close to Rs 5 crore. This clearly shows that despite the arrival of the new film ‘Alpha’, the equation of ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ is still safe among the audience. Akshay’s comedy ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ is going to cross the magical figure of Rs 100 crore at the domestic box office very soon. The total net collection of the film so far has reached Rs 96.95 crore. Now the film needs only Rs 3.5 crore more to touch the Rs 100 crore mark. Directed by Ahmed Khan, this film is performing well not only in India but also internationally. The film has so far made a total business of Rs 137.36 crore worldwide, which also includes Rs 26.45 crore from the overseas market. Even though the screens have been divided with the arrival of ‘Alpha’, the pace of Akshay’s film is still continuing at the box office.
