West Bengal Elections: Amit Shah releases BJP’s ‘trust letter’, special emphasis on women and youth

Kolkata, 10 April. In view of the West Bengal Assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday released its election manifesto, which the party has named ‘Bharosa Patra’. Home Minister Amit Shah unveiled this resolution letter in a program organized here.

Trying to cater to every category

All major sections including women, youth and farmers have been kept in mind in the manifesto. It also includes promises of cash assistance along with various schemes, which appears to be a strategy to provide direct benefits to every section of the society.

Roadmap of ‘Sonar Bangla’

On this occasion, Amit Shah said that this resolution letter will show the way to bring Bengal out of despair. He claimed that this document gives assurance of establishing rule of law, increasing employment and construction of ‘Sonar Bangla’. He said that this is a clear roadmap for the development of Bengal.

Sharp attack on Mamta government

Shah targeted the state’s ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) and Mamata Banerjee, saying that the people, fed up with the Left rule, had brought them to power. Despite this, the government did not live up to the expectations of the people.

Allegations of ‘syndicate rule and infiltration’

He alleged that problems like syndicate rule, goondaraj and infiltration have increased under TMC rule. Now the same people, who once supported Mamata Banerjee, are feeling insecure and disappointed and want change.

farmers, Focus on youth and women

Amit Shah said that this resolution letter will work towards rescuing farmers from agricultural crisis, giving opportunities to unemployed youth and providing a safe environment to women. It also resolves to strengthen the cultural heritage of Bengal. He said that this manifesto has been prepared in line with Narendra Modi’s ‘Developed India’ vision and presents a concrete blueprint of development for the state.

‘Zero tolerance’ policy against infiltration

Shah said that ‘zero tolerance’ policy will be adopted against infiltration. He assured that the infiltrators will be identified and thrown out of the country. Government employees have been promised dearness allowance and salary as per the Seventh Pay Commission.

Announcement of economic and social plans

The manifesto promises to include Kurmali and Rajbongshi languages ​​in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution. Assistance for cultivation of rice, potatoes and mangoes, registration of fishermen and a plan to make West Bengal an industrial and fish-export hub are also included.

Cash assistance for women and youth

BJP has promised to provide monthly assistance of Rs 3,000 to every woman and unemployed youth. Apart from this, it has been said to implement Ayushman Bharat scheme, provide health facilities like free HPV vaccination and breast cancer screening.

Education and cultural projects

The manifesto also promises to establish AIIMS, IIT and IIM in North Bengal, build ‘Vande Mataram Museum’ and bring a law to ensure freedom to practice religious customs.
