BJP releases third list of 19 candidates, RG also gives ticket to rape victim’s mother
West Bengal Elections: Political activity has intensified regarding the West Bengal Assembly elections. Meanwhile, Bharatiya Janata Party has released the third list of its candidates. A total of 19 candidates’ names are included in this list, which is expected to give more edge to the election contest.
Announcement of candidates on important seats
BJP has fielded its candidates on many important seats in this list. Ratna Debnath has been given ticket from Panihati seat. Let us tell you that Ratna Debnath is the mother of Padita who was raped by RG. Whereas, Rathindranath Bose has been fielded from Cooch Behar South. Apart from this, Dinesh Sarkar (Haradhan Sarkar) has been made the candidate from Rajganj seat. Through these names, the party has tried to keep in mind local equations and regional influence.

Emphasis on regional balance in strategy
