West Bengal Elections: CM Yogi’s strong attack on TMC, said- double engine government will bring change, mafia rule will end.
Barabani. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while addressing a public meeting organized in Barabani assembly constituency of West Bengal, launched a scathing attack on Trinamool Congress (TMC). He alleged that TMC workers were harassing BJP supporters and trying to influence the democratic atmosphere.
Yogi said that the people of Bengal need not be afraid, as BJP will “clean up the dust” of TMC from here. Referring to the historical and cultural heritage of Bengal, he said that this land has been inspiring the country for centuries. Referring to Rabindranath Tagore, he said that this land gave the country the national anthem ‘Jana Gana Mana’.
Also mentioning the completion of 150 years of ‘Vande Mataram’, he called it a source of inspiration for the freedom movement. In his address, Yogi remembered great personalities like Swami Vivekananda, Subhash Chandra Bose and Aurobindo Ghosh and said that Bengal has inspired nationalism and sacrifice to the country. Referring to Shyam Prasad Mukherjee, he said that his dream of ‘one country, one legislation’ has been realized under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.
Yogi said that after the removal of Section 370 from Kashmir, now the same law is applicable there as in other states of the country. Attacking the TMC government, Yogi alleged that “terror, mafia rule and cut money corruption” is rampant in the state. He said that the BJP government has taken a pledge to eliminate sand mafia, coal mafia and land mafia. Giving the example of Uttar Pradesh, he said that the situation was similar there 9 years ago, but today “there are no riots, no curfew – everything is fine in UP.”
Referring to the ‘Bulldozer Model’, he said that with this the mafia rule has ended and houses are being built for the poor. Speaking on the Ram temple issue, Yogi said that a grand temple has been built in Ayodhya and this has been possible only with the commitment of the Modi government.
He attacked the opposition parties saying that they could not stop it. In the end, he appealed to the people of Bengal and said that a “double engine government” is necessary to bring the state on the path of development. He expressed confidence that if BJP government is formed, law and order will improve in the state and development will gain momentum.
