West Bengal Elections: Vote for BJP to bring truly inclusive governance… CM Yogi said at Sonamukhi election rally

Accusing West Bengal of adopting a policy of appeasement, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday urged people to vote for a “double engine” government in the state so that a truly inclusive governance system can be established. Addressing a rally at Sonamukhi in Bankura district, Adityanath said Bengal is known as the land of Swami Vivekananda and Ramakrishna, who enriched the country’s spiritual quest.

But the Trinamool Congress government disrespects globally revered spiritual symbols, threatening the state’s Hindu identity, he alleged. Bengal has now become a hub of ‘hooliganism’, which was common before the BJP came to power in Uttar Pradesh, he alleged. There was a lack of development and progress in Uttar Pradesh, but now see the change. Adityanath said that in Uttar Pradesh there is no appeasement but “inclusive Hinduism”, where every community can live peacefully in a safe environment.

“All mafias have been given the treatment they deserve by adopting a zero-tolerance policy,” he said. Adityanath claimed that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will form the government in Bengal and atrocities, rapes and murders will become a thing of the past. “Many BJP workers were murdered and their hands were chopped off by Trinamool Congress goons,” he claimed. These goons will be dealt with appropriately.

Criticizing Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, he claimed that she “remained silent on the killings of minority Hindus in neighboring Bangladesh while BJP leaders issued statements condemning such attacks”. “She remained silent because she is afraid of losing her vote bank in Bengal,” he alleged. Adityanath claimed that there were demographic changes in West Bengal due to infiltration during the Trinamool Congress rule. “The BJP will protect the identity of the state and maintain its inclusive nature,” he said.
