West Bengal Elections: After the West Bengal elections, the Election Commission will conduct re-polling at 15 polling stations in Diamond Harbor and Magra Haat West areas of South 24 Parganas district. The Election Commission has issued instructions in this regard. Voting will be held again at these polling stations on May 2. Voting will take place from 7 am. These 15 polling stations include four polling stations of 143-Diamond Harbor AC and 11 polling stations of 142-Magrahat West AC, where voting will be held again on Saturday. It is being said that the Election Commission has taken this decision after complaints.

Let us tell you that this time all records have been broken in the West Bengal Assembly elections. Of the 294 assembly seats in Bengal, voting was held in 152 seats in the first phase, while voting for the second phase was held on April 29. The results of the assembly elections will be declared on May 4. There was heavy voting in the state in both the phases. According to the Election Commission, 93.19 percent voting was recorded in the first phase, while 92.67 percent voting was recorded in the second phase also. With this, the overall average voting in Bengal reached more than 92.93 percent, which is a new record for voting in any state in the country.

At the same time, security arrangements have been made in Bengal before the results on May 4. State Chief Electoral Officer Manoj Aggarwal on Friday clearly said that there is no possibility of any irregularities at the counting centers as the strong rooms are being monitored round the clock by CCTV.
