West Bengal immersed in corruption under Mamata Banerjee’s rule – Keshav Prasad Maurya – ..
Keshav Prasad Maurya, while addressing the media in West Bengal, said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, an atmosphere of corruption and anarchy has arisen in the state. He said that the people of West Bengal are expecting change today.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that allegations of corruption are continuously coming to light in various schemes and administrative works in West Bengal, due to which the general public is losing confidence in the administration. He alleged that the state government has completely failed to curb corruption.
Shri Maurya said that in a democracy, the public is supreme and it is the public that decides what will be the direction and condition of the state. He expressed confidence that the people of West Bengal will give priority to good governance, development and transparency in the times to come. The Deputy Chief Minister said that the objective of the Bharatiya Janata Party is to establish transparent and public welfare governance in every state of the country, so that common citizens can get direct benefits of the schemes and corruption can be effectively curbed.
