In this match being played at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, West Indies has made its highest score of T20 World Cup. West Indies scored 254 runs at the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs.

The team’s left-handed batsman Shimron Hetmyer played a brilliant inning of 85 runs in 34 balls, while former captain Rovman Powell strengthened the score by scoring 59 runs in 35 balls. Earlier this record was made by the Netherlands team by hitting 19 sixes through its batsmen in the T20 World Cup match played against Ireland in Mirpur on March 21, 2014.
