  • 3 to 4 patoles
  • 1–2 green chilies
  • 4–5 garlic cloves
  • 1 small piece arrived
  • 2 tablespoons roasted peanuts or roasted gram
  • 1–2 tsp lemon juice or tamarind pulp
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ tsp red chillies
  • ½ tsp roasted cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp mustard oil (optional but for added flavor)

  • Wash the potatoes, peel them and cut them into small pieces.
  • Heat a little oil in a pan and add the patties and saute on medium heat until soft.
  • Add garlic, ginger and green chillies and saute for 2–3 minutes. Allow the mixture to cool completely.
  • Add this mixture, peanuts, salt, red chillies, cumin seeds and lemon juice/tamarind to a mixer.
