What is ‘Developed India – Ji Ram Ji Bill 2025’
VBGRAMG Bill: Union Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has introduced ‘Developed India – Ji Ram Ji Bill 2025’ in the Lok Sabha. It is also being called VBGRAMG Bill. This bill is proposed to replace the old MNREGA law. The government says that this new law will not only provide employment but will strengthen the entire livelihood system of the village. However, the opposition also expressed strong opposition to this.
On which areas will the focus of Ji Ram Ji Bill be?
The focus of this new bill is not limited to wages only. Under this, emphasis will be laid on important areas like farming, animal husbandry, fisheries, skill development, market linkage, storage facilities, tree plantation, water conservation and groundwater recharge. The government claims that this will strengthen the village economy and people will become self-reliant.
