Kamikaze dolphins that will target American ships in the sea, how dangerous is Iran’s planning?

middle east After the war and America’s attack, Iran closed the Strait of Hormuz. After which the tension increased further. America again blockaded Hormuz. Now a report is coming out that Iran is preparing ‘Kamikaze Dolphin’ to target American naval ships in Hormuz.

Which can be equipped with explosives and blow up ships in the sea. However, such reports have been rejected by the US Defense Department Pentagon. The Pentagon believes that Iran cannot deploy any such ‘Kamikaze Dolphin’ in the sea.

How did the discussion about Kamikaze Dolphin start?

This claim is believed to be related to old reports which said that Iran had once acquired trained dolphins from the former Soviet Union. It is said that these sea creatures were used in defensive operations like detecting underwater mines and submarines. However, till now no such evidence has emerged which can prove that Iran has prepared these dolphins with explosives for aggressive attacks.

What did the Pentagon say?

During a media briefing on this issue, US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said, “I cannot confirm or deny whether we have suicide dolphins or not, but I can confirm that they do not.” His statement is being widely discussed on social media.

What are kamikaze dolphins?

According to the concept mentioned in intelligence reports, kamikaze dolphins are trained bottlenose dolphins, which are fitted with explosive devices and are prepared to carry out suicide attacks on enemy ships. The term kamikaze is derived from the World War II Japanese pilots who used explosive-laden planes to crash into enemy ships.

Donald Trump again warned

Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump has also adopted a tough stance regarding Iran. On his social media platform ‘Truth Social’, Trump wrote, “If Iran agrees to the terms set out, which is probably a big assumption, then the already discussed ‘Epic Fury’ will end and Hormuz will be open to everyone, including Iran, due to a very effective blockade. If they do not agree, the bombing will begin and, sadly, it will be at a higher level and intensity than ever before.”
