In fact, recently the Union Cabinet approved the proposal to change the name of Kerala state to ‘Keralaam’. Even after this, the Mamta government passed resolutions several times in the Assembly, in which it was said that the name should be kept as ‘Bangla’ in English, Hindi and Bengali.
