What is Team India’s schedule after IPL 2026? Full details of Tests, ODIs, and T20Is to be played
India’s international cricket season restarts after the Indian Premier League (IPL) got over on Sunday. The next few months could be vital for the Indian cricket team in all three formats of the game. Shubman Gill, the Test and ODI skipper, will have his eyes on both the formats considering that his team have their backs against the wall in the World Test Championships (WTC) table.
Ajit Agarkar and his selection committee will also have a keen eye on the players as they get down to pick their core for the ODI World Cup next year. Fitness and form of senior players like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will also be under focus. So will the workload management of players like Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj.
The coming season also gives the likes of Prince Yadav and Gurnoor Brar a chance to show their worth to the Indian cricket team and its fans. In the longest format of the game, batters like Sai Sudharsan and Devdutt Padikkal will be closely looked at after the team’s disastrous performance in the home series against South Africa.
