Mumbai: OTT platform JioHotstar is bringing a new reality show for the viewers. The name of this show is ‘The 50’, which is going to start from 1st February. Filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan will host the show and this reality show will entertain the audience for about 50 days.
A lot of enthusiasm is being seen among the audience regarding the show. The makers have made many interesting revelations related to its concept, potential contestants and audience participation, due to which ‘The 50’ is being described as a different kind of reality experience.
What is the concept of ‘The 50’?
While talking to the media, Alok Jain of JioHotstar said about the concept of the show that the concept of The 50 is that we will keep 50 celebrity contestants at one place and they will have to do some very entertaining tasks. There will also be eliminations and after some time, around 50 episodes, we will also get a winner. In this show, contestants will be given different tasks and the competition will become tougher through elimination at each stage.
Audience will also get a chance to win prizes
The special thing about ‘The 50’ is that the audience will also have direct participation in it. Fans will be able to choose their favorite contestant from the show and place bets on it. If their chosen contestant wins the show, the fans will also get a share of the prize money.

Although no contestant has been officially announced by the makers yet, the names which are being discussed in full swing include Dhanashree Verma, Prateek Sahajpal, Saba Azad, Amiway, Ori, Shweta Tiwari, Ankita Lokhande, Kusha Kapila, Anshula Kapoor, Tanya Mittal, Shiv Thackeray, Urfi Javed, Mr. Faisu, Nikki Tamboli, Arbaaz Patel, Sreesanth, Karan Patel, Riddhi. Dogra, Mallika Sherawat, Vivian Dsena and Jay Bhanushali.
Yuzvendra Chahal rejected the reports
Recently, there were reports that along with Dhanashree Verma, her ex-husband and Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal can also be seen in this show. However, Yuzvendra Chahal has rejected these speculations through social media posts. He clarified that he is not participating in any reality show.
